Job Purpose:  To manufacture, install, test and maintain electrical circuits, equipment and any other electrical/ electronic devices in accordance to relevant codes and regulations which will also include post-factory acceptance tests and inspection reports.

Assembly, Installation, Testing and Maintenance on Electrical or Electronic equipment, wiring and apparatus.
Terminate wires to circuit breakers, transformers and other electrical and electronic equipment.
Testing of electrical systems and continuity and resistance tests of electrical circuits using testing equipment such as Voltmeters, line insulation meters and other hand tools.
Using a wide range of tools and equipment such as power tools, electrical testing equipment and other measuring tools.
Installation of ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment for example, motors transformers and distribution boards.
Repair or replacing of equipment and wiring using basic hand tools and power tools.
Installation of conduit (pipes, tubing or trunking) inside designated partitions, containers, walls or other concealed areas. Fabricating and constructing of brackets or parts using hand/ power tools.
Installation of electrical boxes, DB’s and other enclosures.
Fault find malfunctioning systems, equipment and components. Use testing equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and to correct the problem.

Qualified Electrician with a valid Trade Test through an accredited training institution
