Key Performance Areas:-

 
 
  1. Claims Administration
    • Reviews content of incoming correspondence and diarised files and responds to routine correspondence and routine follow-up action
 
  • Ensures that the process to diarise files is effectively executed
 
  • Recovery of claims paid and costs incurred by the Fund in respect of striking off and/or suspension of attorneys and curatorship fees
 

2.Secretarial Support

  • Utilises      computer       software       packages      to      produce      correspondence, spreadsheets, reports and emails
 
  • Takes     minutes      of    meetings,      transcribes,       types     up     and     distributes minutes/agendas
 
  • Sets up and maintains an electronic and hardcopy filing system
 
  • Answers and operates telephones
 
  • Assists with the drafting of presentations and letters
 
  • Transcribes information from Dictaphone
 
  • Reacts to urgent requests/issues and contacts relevant managers
 

3.Diary Scheduling

  • Schedules electronic meetings in Outlook
 
  • Accepts, declines or re-routes appointment/meetings on behalf of manager/s
 
  • Co-ordinates calendars for the team and schedules appointments
 

4.General Office Administration

  • Responds to requests for documentation and information
 
  • Opens and distributes mail
 
  • Arranges deliveries and collections by courier
 
  • Co-ordinates dispatching of parcels and brochures
 
  • Scanning and saving of all incoming correspondence on F: Drive
 

Work Experience / Qualifications

  1. Matric / Equivalent
 
  1. 5 years related experience in a similar position
 
  1. Legal Diploma / Certificate
 
  1. Be computer literate and have working knowledge of MS Office programmes
