Main Purpose of Job
  1. Management of customer incentive programme, calculation and audit of log fees, stock adjustments and validation of various rep expenses.
Key Performance Areas   (Core,  essential responsibilities –outputs of the position)
1 Management of customer incentive programme:
  • facilitate reward card payments to customers in an efficient and accurate manner
  • sales analysis as required to verification and audit customers performance for rewards/rebate calculations, corporate rebates, listing fees and log fees.
  • maintenance of master file for all log fees and rebates
  • maintenance of customers data base linked to rewards card and payments and queries.
2 Management of marketing spend:
  • to ensure marketing spend is procured in the most cost-effective manner and within the allocated budgets, together with the necessary approval levels
3 Monthly data sales analysis:
  • analysis of monthly sales to establish monthly growth or decline of individual products and provide summary information to enable management to make informed decisions
4 Responsible for :
  • analytics/ audit on rep Petrol expenses.
  • validation/audit of bonus stock and boot stock allocated to reps.
  • monthly CRM card reload and audit to receipts submitted.
  • recon of GL Moffet Stock account to evidence unprocessed credit notes
  • audit of commissions payable to reps
4 Responsible for Stock adjustment via journals in order to reconcile accounts and financials Adjustments are passed for stock that is either:
  • Lost in transit;
  • Damaged;
  • Expired;
  • Written Off; and
  • IBT Transfers
  • Initiate cycle count list daily items 10 counted on weekly basis
  • Drafting of Stock Protection Letters for signature
For Customer Satisfaction
5 General:
  • SEP changes, tender price changes and price grids for customers to be updated on pastel
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric
  • BCom Degree or related finance qualification
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in analytical reporting
  • Microsoft Office – Intermediate to Advanced
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Keep abreast of legislation and latest developments in the analytical field and ensure the implementation of new techniques and methods
General working conditions (e.g. shift work, drivers’ license, specific tools, special clothing, environmental requirements, etc.)

  • Will be required to travel between offices
