Role Purpose
 
To increase the client’s market share through effective outbound sales and proactive acquisition of new clients for the Premium Segment.
 
Responsibilities
 
Find and acquire active Premium clients to grow the client base and profitability.
Grow market share across Premier, Private Clients, Private Wealth and retain or penetrate unbanked customer base with a view to improving and increasing profitability.
Maximise the sales by selling packaged financial solutions to clients.
Achieve sales targets in line with performance scorecards and to achieve an acceptable cost of sales ratio, through pipeline managements and sales quality.
Identify process improvements in order to save costs.
Identify, control and escalate potential risks which may lead to increased costs.
Manage costs/expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies.
Deliver against operational and cost targets.
Ensure team adherence to specified policies, standards and procedures to prevent and reduce wastage and escalate associated risks.
Implement, manage and report on cost improvement objectives and communicate or escalate any shortfalls.
Manage cost to income to increase profitability and efficiencies for the business.
Maintain expert knowledge on all of the client’s products, application procedure, processing and timelines in order to drive and achieve relevant sales targets.
 
Preference will be given to candidates with the following: -
 
Minimum Matric with CAIB or equivalent national diploma – NQF 6.
Proven track record in building relationships and building sales pipeline.
Candidates with 3 to 5 years’ outbound sales and hunting experience in the financial services industry.
Must have Regulatory Exam Certificate.
Driver’s Licence is compulsory along with own reliable vehicle.

It is inherent to the role that the incumbent is honest in dealing with cash and financial transactions.  As such, it is a pre-requisite for candidates to undergo consumer credit record checks to enable the Employer to ascertain whether the candidate’s credit record is acceptable.
