Responsibilities:
 
  • Conclude accurate of job costing
  • Correct and timeous job opening and closing.
  • Effective time keeping of all workshop activities
  • Provide customer feedback on vehicle repair/ maintenance status
  • Manage petty cash and banking of monies timeously
  • Upsell parts and service and positively contribute to the profitability of Workshop
  • Apply workshop policies and procedures in the scope of work.
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction on all service and or repair related issues through courteous and polite customer interaction
  • Update maintenance & service schedules.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding purchase requirements as deemed necessary.
  • Accurate and effectively supplying quotes
  • Submitting of wages weekly to payroll
Main Purpose of Job
Ensure that all parts, consumables and labour for vehicle repairs and maintenance are charged out to the customer whilst also providing regular customer feedback on the status of the vehicle whilst it is being attended to.
Key Competencies/Skills  
Must be Computer literate.
Must have knowledge of DAF systems.
Must be bilingual.
Communication – Ability to work with people at different levels within the organization.
   
   
Required Qualifications/Experience  
Grade 12 or equivalent
Computer literate - essential, with experience in Automate
Experience in workshop job costing
Minimum 2 years workshop administrative experience.
