Administration/Finance Manager - Bishopscourt

We are a group of private in-patient psychiatric clinics that prides itself on providing individual, integrated and family-oriented treatment for a range of psychiatric, psychological and addictive conditions.  We are looking for an Admin/Finance Manager with great experience to join our team in our Bishopscourt, Cape Town offices. Two things that will push you to the top of the list is if you have worked in a hospital environment previously, and you also have SAP experience.  This is an URGENT position to be filled this month.
 
 
Duties (included, but not limited to):
 
Controlling full accounting and administrative activities of the hospital
 
Reporting:
            Preparation of journal entries relevant to this function
            Preparation of GL reconciliations
            Control and reconciliations of provision and accrual accounts
            Monthly trial balances
            Intercompany billing and reconciliation confirmation – to be agreed with corresponding
                        Entity and submitted to Group Support office at month-end
            Maintenance of the fixed asset register to ensure compliance with IFRS and Tax Act
                        Requirements
            Management accounts (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.)
            Monthly management pack in accordance with IFRS
                        To be submitted to group support office within agreed timeframe
 
Credit Control & Billing procedures:
Supervision and review of debtors, creditors and cashbook functions –
                Including assistance with collections and review of credit history and terms
Controlling of patient refund process
 
Application of internal controls and ensuring their continued effectiveness:
            Monitoring of monthly expenses with budgetary confines
            Management of petty cash
 
Payroll and related taxes and submissions to relevant authorities within prescribed deadlines:      
 
Requirements:
            Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others
            Financial management skills
            Ability to function independently and under pressure
            Extensive knowledge of Clinic Manager System
            Clear understanding of Admissions, Pre-Auth, Cash Management, Billing and Credit
                        Control processes
            Minimum of 2 years administrative experience within a hospital environment.
            Preference will be given to someone with SAP experience
