This is a family owned business which has been operating very successfully for over 30 years in a specialised industry.  We are specifically looking for a CA(SA) who has had at least 5 years in the position of a Financial Manager.  Your experience in managing staff will definitely be appropriate. We would also like the successful candidate to be in easy traveling distance to the offices in Robertville in Randburg, Johannesburg.  The successful candidate will not be a job-hopper but someone who has enjoyed a steady career.  The interview process will start now, with the intention of the new incumbent starting at the beginning of January 2019.  This is a fabulous company to work for - so apply soonest.

Key Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Full function of Financial Manager duties.
  • Preparation, review and presentation of management accounts.
  • Preparation and distribution of monthly profit and loss statements.
  • Preparation of the annual budget.
  • Processing of month end accrual and provision journals.
  • Review balance sheet recons.
  • Reconciliation of all inter-company loan and trade accounts.
  • Maintenance of the company fixed asset register.
  • Review and upload payments on the banking platform.
  • Managing the monthly cash flow projections.
  • Preparation of the year-end audit file as well as responsibility for overseeing the year-end audit process.
  • VAT payment preparations and reconciliations.
  • Overall management of the finance team.
Requirements, skills and attributes:
  • Qualified CA
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate – SAP Business One and advanced excel skills
  • Works well under pressure
  • Be deadline driven and possess ability to streamline processes
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Interpersonal and management skills are imperative
  • Business acumen
