An opportunity to work in the bush at St Lucia Lake:

The candidate must be in there 40’s or 50’s.
Stable & not a job hopper!
Good references - honest & reliable.
Single & able to cope with living in the bush.
Must have own vehicle.
Of sober habits & preferably a non smoker.
Must have very strong Excel & computer skills.

The positionis  with  a 20 Bed owner run lodge in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.  (8 rooms)

Financial/HR & Office Admin Manager
 
Financial 
Pastel Payroll - month end payslips
Pastel accounts - entries (usually takes me a day or 2 to do the entries)
Bank reconciliations on Pastel & logging into FNB for statements. (daily checks - log on to bank)
Semper (Reservations Sytem) - accounts
Pull financial reports / monthly reports.
(Occupancy/ spend / Monthly turover / forecasts etc) transfer to excel on dropbox.
Stats - Reservations - directs / Agent Stats etc/  (Reports off semper) 
Agent and guest details to be captured onto Semper to ensure correct reporting.
Month end processing - SARS Paye / UIF / VAT processing
Filing & archiving of accounts.
Head Chef does F&B processing - to be submitted to Financial Manager to check. (all captured on semper by chef)
 
HR
All contracts / Job descriptions etc up to date
Administration & filing & systems in place
All documents to be computerised & neworked & digitally filed.
Staff reviews & performance reviews etc.
Agent stats - % & turnover booked by agents
 
 
General
Systems & checks in place for stock - crockery cutlery rooms (no F&B)
Manage craft shop stock / orders / sales 
Uniform issues 
Back up reservations (if needed)
Renewing of licences - vehicles / liquor / tourism (annual renewals & reminders)
 
 
PA to Directors
All Personal & lodge related admin to be handled.
Non Disclosure Agreement to be signed as will be dealing with financial & confidential information.
 
 
Salary R15000 per month, plus the cottage & meals on duty.
Accommodation provided:  1 bedroom cottage with a shower & open plan kitchen & dining room & outdoor veranda ,  clean and comfy.
