An  excellent   opportunity  exists  for  an  experienced   professional   to  fulfil  the  roles  of:  
Planning   & Development  Engineer
at our Head Office in Alton, Richards  Bay.  
The overall purpose of this job is to undertake planning of infrastructure,  compile  and  evaluate   business plans, procure and manage consultants throughout feasibility and design stage by using sound judgement and technical expertise.
•     Planning and Development of infrastructure
•     Technical engineering function
•     Project Management
•     Contract Administration
•     Assist in drawing management, in-house designs, drafting and GIS management
•     Monitoring and supporting compliance
•     BSc  Civil   Engineering  with  minimum  three   years' experience or  STECH  Degree  in   Civil Engineering  with  minimum   of five  year's  relevant experience in water services  and  water systems design.
•     Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist.
•     Computer literate, proficiency  in MS Office, MS Project, ability to utilize Civil Designer, CAD, GIS and other related software.
•     Excellent report writing skills, and water and waste water treatment plant processes.
•     Sound knowledge of project planning and management skills and Procurement Processes in the Public Sector
•     Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
•     Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
•     Code EB Driver’s license.
