Job Overview:
To develop and execute a new vehicle sales strategy and philosophy to steer the achievement of the requisite sales volumes across all sales channels in accordance with pre-defined targets. The effective management of stakeholders in the value chain and the execution of key deliverables to maintain the leadership position within the Premium Luxury segment. Introduction of appropriate measures an interventions to ensure the achievement of the New Vehicle sales strategy. Develop and sustain collaborative networks that will support in the overall achievement of the New Vehicle Sales targets. To carry out these tasks in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & SHEQ requirements and to perform delegated SHEQ tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
 Sales Performance Management: Management of all new vehicle sales channels in terms of achievement of sales targets as defined on an annual or ad-hoc basis. Ensure effective steering and management of sales team’s deliverables and outputs to ensure achievement of sales results on dealer, fleet, rental, government and online sales channels. Maintain effective and solid working relationships with customers, dealers, internal and external stakeholders in the value chain to achieve the sales objectives.
 Sales Strategy Development & Implementation: Develop and implement appropriate/ relevant sales strategies to support the achievement of overarching organisational goals. Ensure a proactive approach to deriving new projects and implementation thereof in keeping with the requirements of digital transformation, changing industry developments and market/economic conditions. Project management, execution and monitoring projects assigned for implementation against project scope, objectives, cost and time to ensure successful execution of outputs.
 Sales promotion measures & Sales Admin: Implement effective, attractive and market related sales promotion measures and campaigns to stimulate sales momentum, management of aging stock and financial offers. Ensure effective communication to dealer network of sales measures, rules, processes and understanding. Management of the sales admin team, claims and dealer sales enquiries in a timeous and effective manner. Implementation of a Dealer Brokerage mechanism to support retail sales development and individualisation of customer offers.
 Performance Management: Management of all departmental KPI's and performance of department against agreed measurements inclusive of the provision of weekly and monthly reports required as defined from time to time. Identify and manage the implementation of appropriate systems to report and manage the new vehicle sales KPI's, stock-holding, stock-turn/age analysis, sales channel developments, campaigns, etc. Optimise continuous improvement by proposing and managing the implementation of enhancements to support the streamlining of business processes, improved turnaround times and effectiveness of team.
 Budget Management - Manage and control the departmental budget to ensure that expenses are within approved budget. Reconciliation and review of the budget on a monthly and annual basis to ensure that all costs are aligned and within budget.
 Strategic Project Implementation - Implementation of strategic projects as defined from time to time to align with overall organisational strategy. Project concept development, management, execution and monitoring as
assigned for implementation against project scope, objectives, cost and time to ensure successful execution of outputs.
 Personnel Management: Lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target agreements and performance evaluations on the basis of the mission statement. Ensure target-oriented internal communication and task-related qualification. Provide for employee and task-related qualification regarding the requirements of Compliance. Ensure the achievement of agreed targets.

 5 to 8 years’ sales management experience in Automotive Industry

 Matric plus 3 year Degree/Diploma in Business/Marketing (360 credits)
 Postgraduate qualification would be advantageous
