RESPONSIBILITIES

COMMERCIAL SALES process from quote generation to closing the deal telephonically
and face to face while adhering to the quality standards set by the company
New Business and up-selling of existing clients
Sourcing new leads for both personal lines /commercial short-term insurance
Handling client queries
Loading of Policy Information and new applications
Database Management, PR work to current database (Taking care of and calling the
existing client base to review portfolio, contact details and make sure portfolio is up to
date ) As well as obtaining leads from Short term/Medical Aid clients for the Life Division
Contacting referrals and doing quotations follow up’s on closing business and e-mailed
quotes
Liaising with Broker Consultants from various insurance companies
Credit Control – Phoning clients who are in arrears and sorting out problems
Liaising with the Driver for collection and Delivery of Documentation
Requirements for tracker , inspection to be followed up as well as all outstanding
Business to acceptance stage
Adding benefits to existing policies
Have a good understanding of the FAIS legislation
