Qualification: Degree in Industrial or Computer Engineering at a recognised University
Position: Business Analyst

Previous Experience and Qualities:
  • Lean and Six Sigma Certifications or equivalent.
  • Business Process understanding and optimisation.
  • Strong Continuous Improvement, Change Management Strong and Project Management
  • skills.
  • Diligent, high energy, self-starter and results oriented

Analytical and audit skills
• Computer, MS Office and especially Excel and Visio skills.
• Understand databases, data and SQL manipulation.
• Data analysis, collection, model building and trend analysis.
• Attention to detail and data driven.

Proven ability to successfully manage cross functional teams and implement improvement
within an established time frame, then sustain improvements.
Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills and organization skills. Should
be comfortable teaching and presenting to large groups at all levels of the organization from
individual contributors to executive leadership level.
Willingness to travel from time to time.

Description of actions / activities
Expected Deliverable
The successful candidate will initially have multiple roles performing both financial
documentation / complaints audits and optimisation projects, with the aim to later be
involved in the latter on a full time basis.

The audit responsibility includes:
a. Auditing of financial documents (instruments) and comparing different sources of data,
including, but not limited to, data from database, financial documents, reports, system
generated documentation, etc.
b. Auditing, analysing and understanding enquiries and complaints, with the aim to
improve customer service and in turn link it to financial corrections (if any).
c. Compile a detail report of audit findings identified and report on the magnitude of the
errors identified. Keep detailed records of any errors, audit findings and
inconsistencies during audits.

The optimisation function includes:
a. Develop metrics to measure equipment / production / service capacity and output, with
the aim to identify flow bottlenecks.
b. Determine the most efficient sequence of operations / workflow and establish methods
for maximum utilisation of production facilities and supplier personnel.
c. Analyse cost and information related to production facilities, suppliers, commodities,
equipment, supply chains, customers and factory consumables.
d. Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and
production record systems.
e. Drive operational excellence and create a sustainable continuous improvement culture
across organisations and create a visual workplace.
f. Establish accident prevention measures and design training programs for personnel
concerning all phases of production operations.
g. Create and Drive Lean Vision via leading and participating in projects, JDIs (Just Do
Its) and kaizen and utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools to improve processes.
h. Responsible for executing a lean transformation plan that provides delivery of goals
and metrics including Safety, Quality, Productivity, Output, Cycle reduction / Inventory
i. Identify short-, mid-, and long-term wins that will transform the culture / throughput and
produce results.
j. Use appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify
and document improvements.
k. Coach and develop a problem-solving culture at all levels of the organization.
l. Lead and direct Root Cause Failure Analysis of significant People, Process, and
Equipment related downtime events; implement permanent corrective actions to
mitigate probability of re-occurrence.
