Financial Advisor’s Administrative assistant

· Hours of work: 08h00 – 16h30 or 08h30 – 17h00
· Nature of Contract: Full-time (Permanent)
· Salary Range: R12,000 – R18,000 (TCTC, commensurate with skill and experience)

An independent financial services provider and private wealth management company is looking for a proactive individual to assist the Financial Advisor with the processing of all administration for new and existing clients, record keeping and data-capturing.
1. Client services: Communicating with clients, telephonically and electronically
2. Financial Administration: FICA (data gathering and filing); forms administration (sending to clients, managing the return and capturing of forms); Data capture on CRM system (Elite Wealth); submitting all forms with financial Institutions
3. Support: Working with the Financial Advisor to prepare quotes and comparisons; working with the Pro planner to prepare proposals
4. Ad hoc administration duties: General support, including on and offline filing
1. A diploma or undergraduate degree is essential as is a minimum 2-3 years’ previous experience within an insurance, investment or asset management environment and experience with a CRM system preferably Spotlight or Elite Wealth.
2. Experience at a financial advisory company is advantageous
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and financial service providers/institutions effectively and respond to queries and deal with complaints in a calm and rational manner.
5. A highly organised and efficient individual who can multitask and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
6. Systems oriented with good attention to detail and the ability to follow policies and procedures.
7. Basic related product knowledge including Life cover, Disability, Retirement Annuities, Endowments, Preservation Funds, Pension and Provident Funds, Living Annuities and Medical Aids is advantageous
8. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Document Scanning)
9. A highly honest and ethical individual with good financial acumen and understanding
