1. Trading Operations:
Clothing and Cellular Sales Operations – all responsibilities from setting of sales budgets to actioning of sales activities and
review of sales performance for all stores and regions.
Management and control of all functions related to the organising, planning, managing, controlling and reviewing of the store
trading and operations function.
 
2. Trading Profitability:
Ensure that the store operations function adheres to internal policies and is externally compliant.
Ensure operating plans with goals and objectives are implemented within budget and timeframe.
Ensure that sales targets are achieved.
Store expenses controlled and monitored.
Ensure focus on the store contributions KPI's (i.e. via the PnL's).
 
3. Effective Controls in the stores
Management and control over all Checklists, i.e. Efficiency, HR and PowerCell checklists, etc.
Ensure effective control and management of Stock (e.g. Markdowns, etc.) and Cash in the stores.
Ensure Stock control is maintained via perpetual hanger counts and annual stock-counts.
 
4. Customer Experience Focus
Ensure all strategies relative to the company’s Customer G.U.E.S.T strategy actioned.
Ensure that the Customer Experience at store level is maintained and focused on.
 
5. Staff Responsibilities – build, develop and lead the Store Operations team
Lead the store operations effectively by inspiring, motivating and mobilizing the team to work together towards defined goals
Andensure that the goals strived for are achieved
Ensure that the strategy of the store operations function is understood by team members and that they are committed to its
fulfilment
Performance management progression and management thereof
Training and development focus is focused on for ALL Store Staff and also the Store Ops Management Team.
Management of all staff functions under the Store Operations function, i.e. Area Managers, Store Managers and all Store Staff.
 
 
10. Effective and Structured Communication
All round effective communication to Stores and the Company linking company strategy to store focus and performance
Involvement and management of Managers Conference and Regional Conferences
Provide company management with all necessary performance reports, progress of strategic and operational plans, collating
information and updates from staff
