Main Duties and Responsibilities of the HR Clerk:
  
  • Time Keeping for Johannesburg, Ladysmith, Newcastle, Vryheid, Nelspruit Branches
  • Daily Downloading of Clocking Report (Biometric system)
  • Reporting and manually updating clocking times manually for staff that did not clock in/out
  • Weekly Overtime Reports
  • Excel Spreadsheets to be submitted for long distance drivers
  • Drafting of Disciplinary Docs for Operations Manager
  • Follow up on staff queries (Leave pay, etc)
  • Maintain staff files (Duplicate – files held in Johannesburg and Durban)
  • Submit time sheets to Head Office for Payroll
  • Assist with overflow collections/queries/quotes for customers
  • Reception relief daily (1 hour)
  • Ordering of Office Stationery
  • Provide Clerical Support – assist with importing Proof of Deliveries on our Database
  • General Customer Services Duties which may arise
 
Requirements: 
  • Minimum Grade 12
  • Available Immediately
  • Knowledge of the Courier Industry advantageous
  • Basic HR/IR Experience/knowledge advantageous
  • Previous Time Keeping experience advantageous (our operating system is Turbo Time)
  • Customer Services/similar background advantageous
  • Excellent Numeracy Skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervisior.
  • Able to operate Windows Based Programs (MS Word/Excel/Similar Applications)
  • Reliable transport
