Job Title: Logistics Manager / Administrator

Minimum qualification required:
  • Grade 12
Minimum Experience required: Minimum of 2 years’ experience of imports and exports
Minimum of 2 years’ experience on  material movement planning and delivery within in deadlines
Duties: Logistics
  • All aspects of Imports and Exports
  • Arranging all formalities with Customs
  • Temporary Export of equipment to Sites in neighbouring countries and Import back to SA
  • Organising various inspections
  • Liaise with various Stakeholders in setting up accounts such as the Borders, Suppliers
  • Route Planning
  • Manage the Logistics team – 4 Drivers
  • Keep a traceable record of all work done
  • Liaise with Estimating re pricing etc.
  • Adhere to Client’s’ Health & Safety Regulations
  • Manage Stock & Stocktakes
  • Manage Stock at warehouse in Durban
  • Materials management and allocation to Sites

  • MUST have a high tolerance for stress and be able to work under pressure
  • Experience in dealing with Mines and especially in the Construction Industry would be an advantage
  • Own vehicle and driver’s licence and passport will be an advantage as occasional travel will be required to and from sites
  • Be prepared to stay in remote locations on site if and when required
Salary / wage: R30 000.00 per month plus Pension and Medical Aid
